Journey through subcultures with the iconic British brand…

Set across three storeys, the new Dr. Martens store on London’s Oxford Street is more than just that. As well as selling the full collection, the space tells the story of the iconic British brand through a permanent exhibition of photography and items from the personal archive of Mick Jones from The Clash, tracking DM’s musical timeline from 1901 to the cult status it still holds today. To celebrate the store opening and the launch of their AW15 collection, they have released Dr. Martens: A History of Rebellious Self-Expression, a book documenting the musical culture synonymous with the boots and featuring the likes of Madness, The Cure and The Specials, as well as newer Doc-loving artists such as Japanese metal band, Babymetal.
