While Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa beefed about the title of Yeezy’s new album, Waves, A$AP Rocky showed he was all about the music yesterday. “IDK BOUT ALL THE DRAMA , BUT ITS WAVY WEDNESDAY JU HEARD….. A$VP” he tweeted as he dropped a new music video and a triple whammy of audio treats. The video for JD, directed by the rapper, AWGE and Dexter Navy, the latest single from the rapper’s At.Long.Last.A$AP album, features a mix of live-action and animated visuals, including a cartoon depiction of James Dean, whose voice is sampled on the track. Check out the atmospheric clip below.
Rocky also shared new, high-quality versions of two previously released tracks: Jamborghini High featuring Juicy J and his remix ofDrake’s Wu-Tang Forever. Best of all, he dropped a brand new collaboration with Pharrell Williams called Hear Me, on which Rocky raps : “Don’t you compare me cause there ain’t nobody near me.” If he’s referencing his midweek generosity, it’s tough to disagree. Check out the new tracks below.
