Where are you from?
London.
What do you do?
I’m a barista.
Will you be voting in the upcoming General Election?
Yes.
If so, who are you going to vote for and why? If not, why not?
Labour, as I feel they are quite close to my own beliefs and they have a more realistic chance of achieving what they set out to do, as opposed to the Green Party for instance (whom have a lot of policies that I agree with). Out with the conservatives!
What issues are closest to your heart?
Homelessness, poverty, and an inefficient NHS.
What needs to be done to change them?
Better policies that address the causes of both homelessness and poverty and that aim to eradicate them. For the NHS I feel that there needs to be more funding for a start which would help ease a lot of the issues they are facing, and then intelligent use of the money and resources they have.
What newspapers, magazines or websites do you read to keep up to date with politics?
BBC and The Guardian.
If you could choose anyone in the world to be prime minister, who would you choose and why?
Anybody who has the determination to make society a better place, and who strives for equality.
