Yesterday Supreme announced a new collaboration with Slayer by way of a short-and-sweet Instagram video directed by Ricky Saiz. The clip gives us a neat birds-eye-views of a recent Slayer show, with frontman Tom Araya belting out the band’s 1988 tune South of Heaven — in Supreme box logo tee, of course. “This band bought so much aggression, so much pleasure, so much blood, so much tears,” a voiceover tell us. “This band brought it.”
Today, the label shared details of the Supreme®/Slayer© collection — including imagery and release dates — prompting hundreds of frenzied ‘would cop’ comments on their Instagram. Here’s a full breakdown of the eleven-piece collection: an M-65 jacket, a coaches jacket, a waffle Thermal, a sweater, a hooded sweatshirt, a crewneck, sweatpants, four graphic tees and a 5-panel hat.
It’s the latest in a long line of collaborations Supreme have pumped out this year, including (but not limited to) Nobuyoshi Araki, Timberland, Undercover, Anti Hero, North Face, Levis, Nike, Black Sabbath, Aquascutum, Stone Island, and Vans. We’re out of breath now. Check out the imagery below.
Supreme®/Slayer© will drop in their New York, LA, London, Paris and online stores on the 10th of November. The collection will arrive in their six Japanese stores on the 12th.
