Apple have announced that, when their new music streaming service goes live next week, they will be releasing a juicy exclusive from Pharrell. It’s unclear how long they have the exclusive for, but now that all the tech giants are jumping on the live streaming game, these crowd-pullers will sort the wheat from the chaff. Pharrell teased the release by posting a short snippet of the track, called Freedom, on Twitter.

Freedom will be the first Apple Music exclusive, but it wasn’t the first to be announced; at the developer’s conference where Apple announced the launch of the service, Drake appears on stage in a an Apple-branded baseball jacket to reveal that his much-anticipated upcoming album will be released exclusively on the platform.
Apple Music recently resolved deal disputes with musicians unprepared to foot the bill for their 3-month free customer trial. After an open letter from Taylor Swift, the tech giant – worth $733 billion – eventually reversed their controversial plans and agreed to pay artists during the free trial.
