Arca’s new album and Jesse Kanda video explode

Arca releases his debut album today. Arca is Alejandro Ghersi, who, in turn, is Xen, “a girl whose skin ripples and twists as she dances.” The 24-year-old Venezuelan artist (and current Dalston resident) who’s produced for Kanye West, FKA Twigs and Björk is bringing out his most intimate work yet. Xen, his highly-anticipated debut is released alongside a soul-lifting video by Jessa Kanda, a drone’s eye view of fireworks exploding and dancing across a dark sky.
