It’s been quite the week for the world of online retail. First, the CEO and founder of Net-A-Porter, Natalie Massenet, left the company. Now, the founder of ASOS is stepping down as CEO.
Nick Robertson founded the online fashion 15 years ago, when the world-wide-web was still gaining traction. His risky move more than paid off: today the company is worth about £2.5 billion (5.5 AUD). Nick won’t be leaving the company though, he’s sticking around as non-executive director. Nick Beighton, the company’s Chief Operating Officer will take over as CEO.
