Did someone say Beetlejuice three times? Because everyone’s favorite ghost with the most is back, after almost 28 years, as are original stars Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder. Despite rumors circulating for a while now, Tim Burton, gothic wizard and iconic director, has finally confirmed the sequel to his cult classic.
“The film is a go and has been approved by the Warner Bros. team” he told Showbizspy, “we have talked with the cast members we wanted for the film and they are all on board, this includes both Winona and Michael. We have the script in hand everything is in place all we need to do now is get ready to start filming.” Jilted at the aisle by Winona Ryder’s angst ridden Lydia, we last saw Beetlejuice stuck in an after-life waiting room, where an angry witch doctor shrinks his head. What happens next is anyone’s guess, but hopefully we’ll find out soon!
