Just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse, what remained of Christmas got cancelled (if you’re unlucky enough to call London or England’s South East home, at least). And against all odds, it really was a good year for music. Megan Thee Stallion won queen storyteller with GOOD NEWS, Cardi’s WAP infiltrated our brains and the world woke up to the genius of Phoebe Bridgers. Then of course Christine and the Queens gave us a mythological night to remember with their La vita nuova EP, Shygirl exploded into our lives with her ALIAS mixtape and Flohio delivered her debut album, No Panic No Pain.
