Louisiana-raised performer and charitable queen Britney Spears is doing her part to help victims of the devastating floods in her home state. Britney is urging fans to donate $10 to the Red Cross’s relief efforts, and she’s giving those keen to aid the cause two big incentives. Anyone who pledges the price of a nice sandwich will be entered into a draw to win either a trip to the MTV VMAs this weekend or the outfit Britney ends up wearing. The trip comes with two tickets to the award show at Madison Square Garden, return airfares to New York City, and a meet and greet with the star herself, but the stage outfit is hardly a consolation prize. The Micky Mouse Club alumna’s VMA sartorial history includes 2000’s nude sequin bodystocking, the bedazzled handkerchiefs and snake she wore in 2001, and the butt-skimming wedding dress that starred in the infamous Madonna Kiss that will celebrate its 13-year anniversary on Sunday.

The Louisiana floods are the worst disaster since Hurricane Sandy, having claimed 13 lives, 40,000 homes, and left tens of thousands displaced. More than 1,700 Red Cross workers are currently helping to provide shelter, food, and comfort to people in need. Britney’s plea has attracted a lot of attention on Twitter, so the chances of winning an iconic piece of MTV VMA history are slim — but the chances of helping residents on their long road to recovery are 100%.

Every $10 donation is a chance to win the outfit I wear at the MTV VMAs or a trip to meet me in NYC for the show! https://t.co/i8Zla5UPld
