After making headlines last year when she published a series of naked photos of herself and other women onto the website, herself.com, in a bid to reclaim the female body from the ever-objectifying eye of society, Caitlin Stasey became an overnight sensation. Fast-forward to today and she’s causing a stir once again, all in the name of empowerment.
Attempting to objectify her once more, Fairfax Media, reportedly pulled her story from Good Weekend Magazine, after she refused to pose naked, which the body positive, feminist actress isn’t best pleased about, especially since getting naked is supposed to be a choice. In fact, even as you read this Caitlin is currently waging a war with editor Ben Naparstek on Twitter in a case of she said he said. We say: go Caitlin!
