It’s been over two years since we caught up with Zoë Kravitz and her bandmate Jimmy Giannopoulos, together forming electronic R&B act Lolawolf. During this time, the duo has been busy supporting the likes of Lily Allen, Azealia Banks, Warpaint, and Miley Cyrus as well as putting in studio time to create the followup to 2015’s Every Fuckin’ Day. Their most recent gift is the video for a moody new song called Baby I’m Dying. It’ll appear on their next album, due out next year.
The clip was directed by Max Basch, trailing Zoë as she meanders through New York’s China Town and into a party at Milk Studios in Chelsea. The song is a celebration of young, turbulent love and the chorus — “Baby I’m dying to take you home / Baby I’m crying so take me home” — is guaranteed to be stuck in your head for days.
