There’s something about CSM—it never stops producing young visionaries. The Masters graduates of 2016 included Kiko Kostadinov, Michael Halpern, and Richard Quinn; the year before, there was Matty Bovan and Beth Postle. The 2015 Bachelors’ class gave us Martin Hanly, Mimi Wade, Qiying Fang, and a geurilla show outside the school led by Dilara Findikoglu. Of course, the faculty are instrumental in all of it, perhaps no-one more-so than the course leader of the school’s BA, Fashion.

As Business of Fashion reports, that person is now Sarah Gresty. She replaces Willie Walters, who led the course for 24 years. Sarah has already shaped a number of the school’s star graduates over her 18 years in the faculty—including Matty Bovan, Molly Goddard and Phoebe English—during her time as Pathway Leader of Fashion Design with Knitwear.

“I am extremely excited to be taking over from Willie Walters as BA Fashion Course Leader at Central Saint Martins,” she told Business of Fashion, “Willie has established and sustained an amazingly successful course attracting remarkably talented and vibrant students from all over the world and has built a committed team of staff. I look forward to meeting the challenges that the future may bring while upholding the excellent traditions of the course.”
