It was a big year for the Royal Academy of Art, with previous senior researcher Zowie Broach replacing Wendy Dagworthy as Head of Fashion. Dagworthy had headed up the programme for 16 years, raising the likes of Stella McCartney, Hussein Chalayan, Erdem and Giles Deacon.
