Converse may be known for being all-American, but it’s decided to add some Euro flavor to its latest collection of CONS Breakpoint sneakers, working with leading stores in London, Amsterdam, Berlin and Paris. Cult retailers Footpatrol, Patta, Solebox and Starcow have worked on versions of the shoe that represent their own cities and scenes. Colors range from bright red through two blues to black and come in nubuck leather, suede, nylon and cotton twill.
Martina Luger, Brand Director Converse EMEA, said,”We’re really excited to celebrate the launch of the new Converse CONS Breakpoint sneaker in partnership with four cultural heavyweights, and be able to share the inspirational creative vision of their cities through the Breakpoint Zine.” The 20-page zine shows off work from local creatives including Marwan Kenzari (Amsterdam), Han Sole (Berlin), Bob Motown (London) and Ilk (Paris).
