could bill murray legally steal back the only copy of wu-tang clan’s album?

There's got to be some way to get it back from 'the most hated man in America,' who bought it for $2m.

The internet had a collective sad-face this week, as the owner of the one and only copy of the new Wu-Tang Clan album Once Upon a Time in Shaolin was named as millionaire Martin Shkreli, a man who is rich, in part, from raising the price of a life-saving drug for AIDS and cancer patients from $13.50 to $750 per tablet.

Forget the $2M, this is easily the most interesting part of the whole deal between Wu-Tang and Martin Shkreli. pic.twitter.com/5nSshXhjnJ

A brief glimmer of hope came in the form of an apparent contract excerpt leaked on Twitter that suggests Shkreli had signed documents to say that at any time during the 88 year exclusivity period, the album could be stolen back via means of a heist or caper, returning the rights to the seller, with the explanation that, “Said heist or caper can only be undertaken by currently active members of the Wu-Tang Clan and/or actor Bill Murray, with no legal repercussions”. Sadly the excerpt is a fake, but that didn’t stop Clan member RZA from taking the hint from joker Rob Wesley:

We’re really getting the urge to call Bill Murray.

    Do it, Bill!
