As Taschen release The Rolling Stones, an authorised photographic record of one of the worlds greatest rock ‘n’ roll bands, we get ready to head to The City of Dreams (Los Angeles) for the opening of It’s Just a Shot Away, a photographic exhibition of The Rolling Stones and the inaugural show of Taschen’s new Hollywood Gallery at 8070 Beverly BLVD. The exhibition will feature images of Mick, Keith, Charlie and Ronnie by the legendary photographers who were allowed into their blues-infused world, including Gered Mankowitz, Ethan Russell and David Bailey who will be there on the shows opening night, 13th December.
Redefining the sound of rock in the 60s and 70s, as well as creating an image of it that is still mimicked today, The Rolling Stones are music icons, so take a trip 50 years down memory lane with the coolest kids in rock. Limited edition and signed prints will be available for purchase so you can take home a magical moment in music history.
It’s Just A Shot Away opens 13th December – 31st January.
