Drake and Future have unveiled their highly anticipated mixtape, What a Time To Be Alive, available now on OVO Sound Radio and iTunes.
After dropping a series of hints via Instagram, Drake teased the crowd during his performance at Music Midtown Festival in Atlanta declaring, “Sunday will be madness”. And it was. As news hit that the mixtape was officially released when Drizzy posted the album’s diamond encrusted cover art via Instagram with the caption, “WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE available at 8pm EST, Sunday on ITunes @future @applemusic“.
This is what Drizzy has to say on his 11-track album, “It’s a little soundtrack for people that need it right now. I went to Atlanta for six days a couple weeks ago with the hopes of doing some songs with Future, and when you get around Future, it’s like a vortex, that guy can outwork anybody right now. It’s tough to see someone do four, five songs in one night and not try to match it.”
