Eddie Peake has long been known for his provocative and humourous works of performance art, from staging naked games of 5-a-side football at the Royal Academy to getting roller skaters to perform on a reconstruction of Berthold Lubetkin’s famous modernist penguin pool from London Zoo.
His new exhibition, Psychosis, promises more of the same, drawing on the last six months the artist has spent living in Rome, the artist’s solo presentation at this year’s Frieze New York, and his continued interest in gender and ground breaking use of new materials.
