Jamie Bochert is the latest 3.1 Phillip Lim campaign star to be photographed in her hometown by Viviane Sassen. Following on from Sasson’s sun drenched shoot in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia with Liya Kebede, the photographer hit the streets of Brooklyn and New Jersey that Bochert calls home.
Once again, the images were captured by a small team, without hair, makeup, and styling assistance. “The result is a series of raw images, celebrating the 3.1 Phillip Lim ethos of finding beauty in the every day,” the brand says.

3.1 Phillip Lim shares an exclusive selection of behind the scenes images with i-D. Following the theme of the campaign, we caught up with Bochert about her favorite spots in New York City…
Film Forum
I love going to the Film Forum downtown on Houston Street. The last time I went and saw Pandora’s Box, a German silent film with a piano accompaniment.
Metrograph
There’s also a new cinema downtown called the Metrograph that’s great. They are screening all Cassavete’s films this week and I’m upset I won’t be there to see because he’s one of my favorite directors.

The Four Horsemen
An old friend of mine James Murphy from the band LCD Soundsystem opened this restaurant with three friends and it’s one of my favorite places to eat . The food is great as well as the music and they serve all natural wine.
Gigs
I used to love a place called Goodbye Blue Monday in Bushwick but it’s closed now. There’s not one specific venue I’ll go to, unless there’s a musician I’m specifically going to see.
Jefferson Market Garden
My favorite park in NYC is a small garden on Greenwich avenue and West 10th Street. It’s filled with beautiful flowers and trees, and it has a big rose garden.
