Comme Des Garçons, fall/winter 88
Comme Des Garçons is a pioneer of the modern fashion campaign. Possibly one of the most iconic images used for its fall/winter 88 campaign was shot by Jim Britt in 1977 and features the photographer’s carefree daughters (and their train tracks).
Eckhaus Latta, fall/winter 14
Flashing a grin from ear to ear, the New York-based design duo Eckhaus Latta cast a range of brace-faced beauties for its fall/winter 14 campaign and show.

Charlie James
For model Charlie James, his braces are his trademark. Flashing his signature smile on the runway for the likes of Chanel and Raf Simons, the 18-year-old has become one of the industry’s freshest faces to watch.

David Kaye, May 2008
On the cover of our Agyness Deyn Issue shot by Alasdair McLellan, model David Kaye flashes a smile and a wink revealing his braces-adorned teeth.

Cindy Crawford
Cindy Crawford – one of the original five iconic supermodels of the 90s – embraced the orthodontic look, too. She sported braces for a Pepsi commercial, which she shared a backstage throwback to on her Twitter.

Hood By Air, fall/winter 15 show
Hood By Air designer Shayne Oliver sent metal mouthed models down the catwalk for the brand’s fall/winter 15 show. Custom made fake teeth grills were created for the collection adorned with silver braces and complete with tiny HBA padlocks.

Gwen Stefani
A pink-haired Gwen Stefani rocked braces as an adult in the 90s, which she later shared were more of a fashion choice than a necessity and something that she’d always wanted to have, “I always told myself when I got rich, that’s the first thing I’d do.”
