The second in a series of not-so-secret birthday parties in the super sexy basement of London’s Edition Hotel will provide you with the perfect place to dance this February 14th away with the latest and greatest artists. Finn’s past parties have brought us the likes of SOPHIE, Danny L. Harle, Felicita, A. G. Cook, MssingNo and Palmistry, so he’s pretty much guaranteed to show you a good time. How old will you be on Valentine’s Day?
I’m turning 20.
Who would be your dream date?
Probably Kristen Stewart or Vanessa Hudgens. But I think they might be too much drama for me…
What’s the best Valentine’s Day gift you’ve ever given?
I don’t usually make an effort for myself, but I always do for other people. Last year, I gave my ex a hardback book with all sorts of stories, photos and memories of us together. She was really into Mars Volta too so I even got one of them to sign it at a show. Although I’m single now, so I’ll have to think of something even better this year.
Who made your birthday song and what is it about?
I made the song with Finn at like 4 ‘o clock last night. Finn kept playing me a bunch of bassline tunes to keep me awake, but I kept trying to play Greensleeves because it’s a song I always used to listen to as a kid to put me to sleep. The birthday song came out of that late night conflict. But really it’s dedicated to whoever my date is to the party.
What would your dream birthday party be like?
I’m really not fussed. It was all Finn’s idea to make a big deal out of it. I’m fine as long as I can share it with somebody. If I can’t find a date I might not even feel like coming.
Why are you having your birthday party at the Edition Hotel?
The hotel is really fancy. It’s not my vibe. Finn insisted, but to be honest, it’s not really my thing.
Why should we RSVP to your party? Cause like, we might be washing our hair…
Because you have to celebrate Valentine’s Day somehow. It’s the best holiday of the year.
If we do come, what do you want for your birthday?
I’m more into giving gifts than receiving them, but I do need a new vaporizer.
Is there a dress code?
I’ll probably just wander down in my shorts. I hope there isn’t one…
