Music's mythical unicorn was spotted at not one but two events last week.

Frank Ocean has been agonizingly quiet over the last couple of years. It was a full 10 months ago that he gave us hope for not only a new album but also a zine, which are now both a casual seven months overdue. But last week he made somewhat of a comeback by resurfacing for a brief outro on the track “Wolves” from Kanye West’s new album The Life of Pablo. And — though you’d be forgiven for missing him amongst Vanessa Beecroft’s towering refugee camp and and the Kardashian-Jenners’ glittering custom Balmain — that’s not all the support Ocean gave to the Album of the Life. Photographer Tyler Mitchell shot him hanging out in the crowd, vibing to the music along with 18,000 randoms in Madison Square Garden, as Out magazine reports.

Is it safe to dream? Probably not, but maybe. Only a few days later music’s mythical unicorn was spotted at another fashion week gathering — Calvin Klein’s warehouse rave in Bushwick last week. Stealth Instagrammer Ty Hampton snapped him mingling with a crowd that included Dev Hynes, Zoe Kravitz, and Petra Collins, and looking adorably pensive given the nature of the event.

It’s not quite the blaze-of-glory social media homecoming party we’ve been hoping for since Ocean deleted his Twitter and Instagram accounts two year ago. But hey, we’ll take what we can get. At the very least, it’s a solid argument for the case that the coolest things at fashion week really do happen of the runway.
