Pamela Anderson is THE modern-day pin-up (and a vegan), and ever since French designer Amélie Pichard spotted the blonde bombshell on Baywatch in 1992 when she was nine years old, she’s been her muse. What both have in common is their passion for animal-rights activism, and when Pam and Amélie were introduced by a mutual friend they hit it off and decided to make a leather-free shoe line together. “Our idea is to make sustainable fashion sexy by playing on the duality of Pamela Anderson, who on one hand is a sex icon, and on the other hand, is a mother nature lover”, says Amelie. 10% of the proceeds will go to the PETA-approved Pamela Anderson Foundation.
