As if owning Mo’Wax records, being part of UNKLE and soundtracking Sexy Beast isn’t enough, James Lavelle has now turned his talents to the fragrance world, teaming up with perfumer Azzi Glasser – the woman behind scents for Alexander McQueen, Agent Provocateur and Johnny Depp – to create eau de parfum, Build & Destroy. The unique formula will scent the Saatchi Gallery as part of a new Mowax Exhibition curated by Lavelle, and will be sold at the Goodhood Store from 27th November. From today there are 300 limited edition bottles of the fragrance, with its notes of frankincense, myrrh, blond woods and vetiver oils. The collaboration extends to the contemporary packaging design, which merges art, music and British street culture influences.
