Menswear designers and i-D favourites Grace Wales Bonner and Charles Jeffrey, with his label LOVERBOY, have been announced as the new additions to Fashion East’s MAN catwalk for autumn/winter 16 at London Collections: Men in January. They join Rory Parnell-Mooney, who is on his third season showing as part of MAN.
“This season we selected a line-up of designers that are extraordinary, significant and representative of London now,” says Lulu Kennedy, director of Fashion East, adding “From the beautiful expertise of Rory Parnell-Mooney, to the unique vision of Grace Wales Bonner, and the irresistible world of Charles Jeffrey’s LOVERBOY we are beyond proud to present these talents”.
Jason Griffiths, marketing director of Topman adds: “Following the milestone 10th year anniversary of MAN in June we are very excited to welcome another two new names into the fold — Wales Bonner and Charles Jeffrey’s LOVERBOY — who join an already jam-packed who’s who list of talented menswear designers. Further congratulations also to Grace Wales Bonner for her recent win at the British Fashion Awards — a well-deserved applaud as Emerging Menswear Designer of the year”.
The release from Fashion East also notes that Liam Hodges, who has shown as part of MAN for the past three seasons, “flies the nest to receive prestigious NEWGEN MEN support”.
