After supporting Lana Del Rey on select dates of her Endless Summer tour, and announcing her own US and Canada Rhinestone Cowgirl tour dates, the weirdly wonderful and wonderfully weird synthpop nymph, Grimes, has announced her European tour, AC!D Reign. The sweet, sweet sounds of AC!D will be raining down all over Europe, starting in Berlin, travelling through Stockholm, Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris, before stopping off in seven UK locations, including Brixton’s O2 Academy, and ending up in Dublin.
Having supported LA-based pop artist HANA by bringing her out on Lana Del Rey’s tour, and inviting her to sing her own song Clay during one of her sets, Grimes is turning the tables and having HANA supporting her during her AC!D Reign tour. The news should at least keep you going until Grimes releases the long-awaited follow-up to her third LP Visions, fingers-crossed it’s dropping this autumn!
