Controversial cult film director Harmony Korine — or as he’s now known by many rap fans on YouTube, “the old white guy” — has once again teamed up with his friend Gucci Mane for the Atlanta artist’s new music video. “Last Time” featuring Travis Scott is a wintry, festive visual showing Guwop, Korine, and Scott jumping around amongst falling snow and flaming cars. Gucci has certainly been getting in the holiday spirit recently. Last week he gave away an iced-out Rolex to a fan at an Atlanta Hawks basketball game before offering a fist-sized diamond engagement ring to his longtime girlfriend Keyshia Ka’oir on the stadium’s Kiss Cam.
Gucci has reunited with Korine multiple times since the latter tapped La Flare to appear in his 2013 film Spring Breakers. Korine recently directed Gucci trying on Gucci belts in an MTV Cribs-style film for Supreme, and the rapper is set to appear in Korine’s next feature film The Trap alongside Al Pacino, Benicio del Toro, and his Spring Breakers co-star James Franco. Korine also paid Gucci a visit when he was behind bars earlier this year studying up on the works of his other BFF Malcolm Gladwell.
