here’s what happens when miley and maisie make public access tv

Things get weird in the new Converse campaign featuring Amine, Millie Bobby Brown, Amandla Sternberg, and 66-year-old pole dancing champion Greta Pontarelli.

For their latest imaginatively out-of-the-box campaign, Converse have tapped into the medium of public access TV. They’ve brought on Miley Cyrus and Maisie Williams to host their own creatively liberated episodes — and boy, do things get unconventional.

Left to their own devices Miley and Maisie have each recruited a number of people who inspire them to appear as guests on the show. In Maisie’s case, this includes Millie Bobby Brown and Amandla Sternberg, Syd from The Internet and 17-year-old Chef Flynn McGarry.

For her episode, Miley has gone down an even less predictable path, inviting circus stunt performer Carla Wallenda, 66-year-old pole dancing champion Greta Pontarelli, her sister Noah Cyrus, 23-year-old rapper Amine, comedian Brandon Wardell, an artist from Compton named Buddy, plus 19-year-old inventor Ann Makosinski. Phew! Complete with cut and paste graphics and wacky sound effects, this is not your typical TV.

Directed by Andrew Barchuilon and styled by Ian Bradley, Maisie’s episode is out now and Miley’s is scheduled to air later in the month. Check out some BTS snaps below.
