Last year we received so many great submissions to My Month in Photos that came from all over the world. Because of this overwhelmingly positive response, in 2022, we wanted to expand the series a little and offer the chance to see your work in print.
So, on top of publishing a monthly round-up of your best submissions, we’re offering one or more photographers the chance to have their work featured in an issue of i-D later in the year if their photography really stands out from the pack. We’re on the lookout for work that feels natural, instinctive, and in the moment; nothing heavily curated and no fashion shoots!
And if you’re looking for inspiration, have a look through a few of last year’s successful submissions. Our favourite aspect of this process is how international the stories often are. There’s work from Siberia, Mongolia, Botswana, Guatemala, Bratislava, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, Brasil, Iran, Denmark… the list goes on and on.
We’ll be taking submissions at photography@i-d.co at the end of every month.
