Listen to KT Spit and friends
KT Spit is one of Melbourne’s best music makers. She’s honest, unique and here she’s joining pals Pare Ohm, Wet Kiss and Dylan Michél at intimate little venue, Longplay.
8PM, Thursday 9th July @ Longplay, 318 St Georges Road, Fitzroy North.
Look at some damn good art
Opening nights are a great opportunity to grab free wine and use the liquid courage chat to other cute cultural enthusiasts. But sometimes an artist is so special that it’s worth visiting their exhibition for art, not alcohol’s sake. Andrew Gritscher is one such artist that is worth spending your entire weekend just looking at his work. His solo show at Kick Gallery opened on Thursday and runs for two weeks.
9th-26th July @ Kick Gallery, 4 Peel Street, Collingwood.
Hear Miles Brown’s new single
The synth-playing dude Miles Brown is dropping the first single off his upcoming album, Séance Fiction, with the help of some talented musical friends. 11PM, Friday 10th July @ New Guernica, 322 Little Collins Street, Melbourne.
