1. Madison Stubbington
What we’ve all learned from Madison Stubbington in 2014 is that there is no smoke without fire! This smokin’ hot, flame-haired spark of a chic who looks like Natalie Westling’s little sister, exploded onto the scene this year walking for Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu and Jean Paul Gaultier in her very first catwalk season, was the face of Simone Rocha’s collaboration with J Brand and stars in Hedi Slimane’s latest campaign for Saint Laurent. Don’t play with Madison ‘cos you’ll get burned!
2. Imaan Hammam
With a Moroccan mother, an Egyptian father, a Dutch upbringing and a name reminiscent of the greats (Iman Abdulmajid and Chanel Iman), we predict 18 year old Imaan Hammam will be the next super. Like Iman she’s bagged an American Vogue cover, like Chanel she’s stalked the Victoria’s Secret runway and like both she’s proved her props as both an editorial and commercial star. And as the new face of Givenchy we’ve placed all our bets on her…
3. Charlie Cooper
Discovered window shopping in Camden by i-D fave Max Pearmain, Charlie first appeared as a model for David Sims – the best in the business when it comes to mens casting. Obviously it wasn’t long before he appeared in i-D not once but twice this year shot by two of 2014’s biggest breakout photographers, Harley Weir and Brett Lloyd. Already a Topman favourite, we expect big things this coming January at the London Collections: Men shows.
4. Aya Jones
A lush mix of Ivory Coast and French descent, we’re majorly crushing on Aya Jones. Her super cute, doll-like features; all sultry eyes and bee-stung pout, made an exclusive appearance on the Prada spring/summer 15 runway in Milan before storming the catwalks of Miu Miu, Maison Martin Margiela and Sonia Rykiel among others in her hometown of Paris. The City of Lights might soon lose it’s brightest star but the fashion industry sure is happy to have her.
5. Olympia Campbell
Edie and Olympia Campbell are one sister act to watch. As i-D cover girl Edie’s little sister, Olympia was bound to make waves in the fashion industry. This spring/summer 15 she made her international catwalk debut at the likes of Burberry, Fendi and Sonia Rykiel, as well as Chanel’s Metier d’Arts and walking the Louis Vuitton show in a one of it’s most opulent looks; a crushed velvet bikini top and trousers. Olympia Campbell is a mega babe.
6. Molly Bair
With her dead straight hair, big eyes and pixie features, Molly Bair could be the new Masha Tyelna. Alien-like beauty captivates the fashion world every time a new sylph-like girl appears on the scene. Enchanting the likes of Miuccia Prada, Raf Simons and Karl Lagerfeld this season, we’re certain we won’t only be seeing this elfin beauty in our daydreams.
7. Vanessa Moody
Big, black eyes, long, brown hair, she’s so sweet with her get back stare! Vanessa Moody seduced us completely this year. With exclusive opening spots on the Alexander Wang and Balenciaga autumn/winter 14 runways and a closing one at Givenchy spring/summer 15, she’s so sublime she even blew Steven Meisel’s mind as he enlisted her for the cover of Vogue Italia and a Coach campaign straight after.
8. Julia Bergshoeff
The serene Daria Werbowy look-a-like is only 17 but she’s already scored campaigns with Prada, Proenza Schouler and Gucci, strutted her stuff on the runways of Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu and Versace and appeared in i-D’s Jacquemus feature for The Girls + Boys Issue, Pre-Fall 2014. Remember her name, you’ll be hearing it a lot…
9. Clark Bockelman
Clark Bockelman is the golden-haired Adonis who launched his editorial career with Bruce Weber, and has gone on to be a Calvin Klein fave, rocking four looks in his first show for spring/summer 14 and shooting no less than three campaigns in one year for the brand. This all-American, Indiana native’s star is definitely on the rise.
10. Lina Berg
With her pale skin, bleached eyebrows and flowing, blonde locks, Lina is ethereal at it’s finest. Breezing down the runways of Alexander Wang, Burberry and Chloé amongst others, as well as sitting pretty in the pages of The Beautiful Issue, Winter 14, she’s a breath of fresh air and we can’t get enough of her.
