When H&M announced their Kenzo collaboration earlier in the year — by way of a short, sharp video — we didn’t think we could wait till November 3rd to get our hands on the goods. As the day inches closer, more is being revealed about the collection and the campaign imagery. Today we learned the ads will star Iman, Chloe Sevigny and Rosario Dawson alongside Chance the Rapper, Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto, climate change activist and rapper Xiuhtezcatl Martinez and Vietnamese rapper Suboi.

It’s an exciting lineup in front of the camera, but Kenzo has also pulled an iconic talent behind the lens. Jean Paul Goude will shoot the collection, marking his second partnership with Kenzo — creative directors Humberto Leon and Carol Lim are open in their admiration of Goude’s work. Goude, of course, is famed for his distorted pre-Photoshop images of Grace Jones, shot during the 70s and 80s.
H&M is on a collaborative roll: last year they worked with Balmain on a sold-out collection, and Alexander Wang prior to that. Watch the behind the scene clip below.
