In the sixth instalment of Jimmy Fallon’s The History of Rap with Justin Timberlake, last night saw the duo, accompanied by The Roots, perform an impressive mash-up featuring R. Kelly’s Ignition Remix, Fetty Wap’s Trap Queen and Kendrick Lamar’s Know Yourself, as well as classics from Beastie Boys, Wu-Tang and MC Hammer. Jimmy began an NWA tribute before Justin cut him off with, “we’ve been through this before… you aren’t straight outta Compton. You’re straight outta upstate New York.” Complete with misheard Snow – Informer lyrics and JT’s trap dance, the pair are comedy gold. As one commenter on YouTube said, “just give me my buddy cop movie now!”
