Washington DC played host to Broccoli Festival over the weekend, where music wasn’t the only thing on the programme. Festival-goers could watch headline acts like Erykah Badu or Joey Bada$$ just as easily as they could take a yoga class or go on a five kilometre run. That’s just what the festival’s about: empowering the community though healthy living and great music. Emphasis on great: Willow and Jayden Smith performed a killer set, Chicago rapper Tink drew well-deserved Lauren Hill comparisons, and i-D pal D.R.A.M. jumped on stage.
