Justin Bieber just announced his new album

His sixth record ‘JUSTICE’ is dropping next month.

Barely a year has passed since Justin Bieber dropped “Yummy”, his earworm track that got the internet talking. A Grammy-nominated record, Changes, followed it in early 2020. And now, after a mostly quiet year from which he’s emerged with a trio of strong, lovestruck singles, Justin has finished work on his sixth studio album. It’s called JUSTICE, and the release date is here too: March 19, 2021.

The record, which will include those aforementioned tracks — “Holy (ft. Chance the Rapper)”, Lonely (ft. Benny Blanco)” and “Anyone” — has come fairly soon after his last outing. “In a time when there’s so much wrong with this broken planet, we all crave healing — and justice — for humanity,” Justin said in a statement. “In creating this album, my goal is to make music that will provide comfort; to make songs that people can relate to, and connect to, so they feel less alone. Suffering, injustice and pain can leave people feeling helpless. Music is a great way of reminding each other that we aren’t alone. Music can be a way to relate to one another and connect with one another.

“I know that I cannot simply solve injustice by making music,” he added, “but I do know that if we all do our part by using our gifts to serve this planet, and each other, that we are that much closer to being united. This is me doing a small part. I want to continue the conversation of what justice looks like so we can continue to heal.”

JUSTICE, which, if there’s any hope in the world, will be stacked with glorious bangers, has already been made available for pre-order. As is standard these days, there are four CD versions, and you’ll inevitably want all of them, as well as a bunch of merch including this very cool grunge T-shirt. Don’t forget it was JB who kickstarted the concert merch renaissance with his Jerry Lorenzo collab during his Purpose era, so expect some wild fashion moments when his 2021 return formally kicks in.
