What do you do?
I make music.
What are you wearing?
A kimono from Emma Chandra boutique, a vintage suede skirt, a singlet and a few ounces of Indian gold.
Do you celebrate Christmas?
Yes, my family gets together for a feast and a good yarn. Mum cries on Great Grandma and Uncle tries to convince everyone the earth is flat.
Do you get excited about it?
Yes I love my family and catching everyone in one room is a strictly annual event.
Best christmas you ever had?
They’ve all blurred into one big dramatic afternoon.
Best present?
My auntie is a hair dresser and gives the best presents that I can’t afford like Moroccan oil shampoo and bamboo hairbrushes.
Best thing you ever gave anyone?
A sleeping mask with the person’s alert eyes painted on it so they could have secret naps.
Christmas survival advice?
Be helpful, be tolerant, comfort eat and clap for your niece’s trombone playing if she just learned hot cross buns.
What are your plans this year?
We’re all hitting the river together so the family isn’t in a confined space.
