Following on from his hugely successful album, Made In The Manor, East London MC, Kane Robinson, better known as Kano, will be touring the UK this autumn with a 6-piece live band. “It’s definitely my most personal album to date,” he told i-D earlier this year, “It’s entirely autobiographical. This is the album where I let people in. And you know, it’s my first one in five years. I had to make something worth listening to, something important. It’s important for me, and important for the listener as well. I always want more from MCs. I want to know more. I think as a scene we need more seminal albums; that’s the way we’re going to get respected on a bigger level.”
Kicking things off in Exeter on October 5th, Kano and his crew will be playing all around the country, stopping off in London for his largest ever gig on the 7th at the O2 Academy Brixton, and ending up at Glasgow on 16th. Clear your calendar as tickets on sale this Monday, at 9am.
