Banksy‘s dystopian ‘bemusement’ park Dismaland opened in Weston Super Mare this weekend and, ahead of a series of live performances by artists including Savages, Pussy Riot, Sleaford Mods and Run the Jewels. Banksy interviewed the latter for the Guardian.

The graffiti artist turned unfairground ringmaster asked the New York hip hop duo if Kanye had any competition to his self-proclaimed title of ‘greatest rock star in the world’. “Absolutely not,” was El-P’s answer, and Killer Mike agreed, but added another juicy bit of rap one-upmanship into the mix: “Kanye is amazing and may be the greatest rock star in the world but Rihanna is the new Tupac (in feminist form), and as much as I love rock, ain’t nobody do it like Pac! Ri-Ri rules in my book”. Yep, the i-D Music Issue cover star rules our world too.

Elsewhere, Banksy says how moved he was when he watched a youtube video of Killer Mike’s emotional speech at a gig following the ruling that officer Darren Wilson would not be charged for the murder of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown. Run the Jewels track and video for Early protests against police brutality against black people in America.
