Early this morning, Kim Kardashian set the internet on fire with a simple tweet: “Friiiiiiday!!!! New music!!!! #EveryFriday #Swish #RealFriends.” Bookended by lots of flames emojis, Kim’s tweet seemed to signal the return of GOOD Fridays — Kanye’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy-era practice of releasing new music each Friday in the run up to the album’s release. It only took 12 hours, but Yeezy’s new track is already here. Well, kind of.
About an hour ago, Yeezy tweeted a Soundcloud link to a Kendrick Lamar-featuring double track, “Real Friends & No More Parties in LA.” Shortly thereafter, the Madlib-co produced track was removed from the streaming platform and the tweet was deleted. The disappearance came with an explanation, though:
Un momento, there was a slight distortion in the main loop within Real Friends.

It will be back up shortly. When it’s back up all rippers please rip the new one instead.

Now, a new version that West is apparently satisfied with has been restored — maybe.
New version is up. Please please erase the old one I wasn’t satisfied with the sound quality.

I hope you have a nice weekend.

If you visit West’s Soundcloud page, there is no trace of either track, though the cover art he tweeted out is now his cover photo. We’ll update this post with the link when — and if — Kanye lands on a version he likes. For now, let the rippers rip.
