Kanye West is officially one fraction closer to paying off that supposed $53M debt. Not that tweets are the same as receipts, but anyone disputing Yeezy’s Twitter claims that his The Life of Pablo pop-up made $1 million in just two days probably didn’t see the lines snaking down New York’s Wooster Street last weekend. “they called me crazy and pointed fingers,” Kanye tweeted last night, “but there is no other brand that could sell 1 million dollars of clothing in 2 days from 1 location!!!”

If he has indeed done the math correctly, this is a pretty impressive number. Stock was priced at a typical tour merch level — $40 for a beanie, $95 for a hoodie, $350 for a bomber jacket — and (apparently) limited to two items per customer. The pop-up also ran for three days, not two, so the grand total probably bodes well for the royal fam’s own taste in far more lavish apparel.

West was so pleased about the profits that he ignored his strong dislike of exclamation points. Never change, Kanye.

I promise I will never let the people down. I want a better life for all!!! Pablo Pablo Pablo Pablo!

And I used a period because contrary to popular belief I strongly dislike exclamation points!

I used an exclamation just to be an asshole and also to make a point! LOL
