When Kim Kardashian posted a (very hot) nude selfie on Instagram yesterday, she probably expected a bit of trolling. She is after all the most famous, and some would argue controversial, woman in the world. But you know, they’re people on the internet and she’s, well Kim Kardashian. Plus the picture got well over 1.3 million likes, so that probably drowns out the negativity a bit.
But when celebrities and public figures started making lame jokes at her expense, she was less chill. Specifically she took issue with a Tweet from Bette Middler reading “Kim Kardashian tweeted a nude selfie today. If Kim wants us to see a part of her we’ve never seen,she’s gonna have to swallow the camera.” Straight up, in 2016 jokes about Kim’s naked body are more lazy than offensive. But it’s pretty disappointing coming from a woman who has always positioned her self as being an open-minded supporter of other women.

Kim got her own back though in a series of Tweets in which, among other things, she called Bette out for kissing her ass in the past.

Bette wasn’t the only one who got a very public take down. She also told Chloe Grace Moretz (who retweeted Bette) no one knew who she was and compared Piers Morgan to a creep on Ashley Madison.
