We’re now in the second week of this year’s French Open, so the competition at the clay court Grand Slam is starting to get serious. Whilst top seeds Serena and Djokovic are triumphing in the tournament, Lacoste are winning in the style stakes with their Roland Garros collection; a range of vintage looks, technical innovations and its statement phrase, “Without style, playing and winning are not enough.” The brand was started by legendary tennis player René Lacoste, (he invented the cotton piqué) and his mid-game silhouette can be seen across the collection. It’s mostly in clean, graphic white and navy, with some pastels also playing for points. There are t-shirts, polo shirts, dresses and hoodies for men, women and kids, plus a leather goods range of totes, pouches and bags.
