From 2002-2007, Deal Real off Carnaby Street was the independent hip hop record store where you could catch intimate performances from the likes of Kanye West, Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson, Mos Def, John Legend and Lupe Fiasco. The store is making a comeback from 18th April – 8th June and has just announced that the likes of Kano, Novelist, Little Simz, Rodney P, Akala and Black Twang will be amongst the performers. There will also be roundtable talks addressing topics including women in hip hop and whether rap music has lost its voice. Check out the full list of performers below.
