At Via Clerici yesterday, Bunyamin Aydin revealed his latest collection for Les Benjamins, riffing afresh on the brand’s “Ottoman Punk” theme. Models showed off a range of leather, sportswear and graphic tees while Sufi whirling dancers created a spectacle all around them. Reflecting the brand’s Istanbul base, the bold clothes interplayed Eastern and Western fabrics and silhouettes. Familiar iconic faces, including Jean-Michel Basquiat, Grace Jones and Salvador Dali gazed out from tops that ranged in length from kaftan to t-shirt. The afterparty at Radio Bar was the usual fun affair — previous performances have seen Skepta, Wiley and Travis Scott perform — and the brand will be following all this up with a big party at Silencio in Paris during the men’s fashion week.
