At their recent Paris menswear presentation, modern day luxury sportswear brand, Les Benjamins, delved deep into a space odyssey that referenced galaxies and the subtle influences of Ottoman culture. The Istanbul-based brand, founded by Bunyamin Aydin, is known for its concept prints and geometric patterns on oversized T-shirts, and here they came with a uniformed monochrome colour palette and added splashes of rich burgundy and deep sea blue.
One of their main fabrications for autumn/winter 15 was leather, which appeared in a button down shirt, shorts, cagoule and zip front pullover hoodie jacket. There was also a burgundy satin effect bomber jacket and a black satin embossed bomber jacket. Each season sees the brand maturing with masculinity and modernising key wardrobe staples.
Les Benjamins is stocked in Browns and Harvey Nichols in the UK, as well as having over two hundred stores worldwide.
