listen: the weeknd vows to corrupt in his latest tune

As he jumps on Bryson Tiller's Rambo, things get sinister… "Society now accepting me, pray for the young ones"

The Weeknd has always been one to aim straight for the heart (or somewhere else) with his lyrics. His latest drop, a remix of Bryson Tiller’s Rambo, is no different. It got the sexual bravado and ernest confessions we come to him wanting. Abel goes as far as addressing the incident during his Las Vegas residency in 2015, when he was arrested for punching a police officer in an elevator. “Thank the lord, didn’t kill me in the elevator/Wasn’t my time, saved my soul, save it for later” he croons.

Before it sounds like he might be repenting, Abel reminds us he’s not getting sweeter. Though he’s broken into the top 40, don’t expect his message to change from the line he was towing in the mixtape days—”Society now accepting me, pray for the young ones” Press play, cause this tune goes off.
