On Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show last night, ANOHNI blessed the world with two previously unreleased tracks. Titled “In My Dreams” and “Paradise,” the former Antony and the Johnsons singer performed the tracks live with collaborator Oneohtrix Point Never. The 25-minute session also featured “Drone Bomb Me” (the video for which starred Naomi Campbell) and “Why Did You Separate Me From the Earth?” as well as an interview discussing ANOHNI’s critically acclaimed album Hopelessness.
Alongside the surprise new tracks, Hopelessness, which includes collaborations with Hudson Mohawke and Oneohtrix Point Never, has just been announced as one of the nominations for the Mercury Prize ‘Album of the Year’ award.
