London’s hottest multi-venue festival just got hotter with a raft of new additions to the already killer line-up. Funky New York post punk pioneers ESG are signed up to give their only festival performance of the summer; fresh from her banging remix of Peaches’ I Mean Something (premiered exclusively by i-D), producer JD Samson (of Le Tigre and MEN) has been confirmed, along with ethereal Canadian singer and producer Jessy Lanza, Icelandic-British girl power pop punks Dream Wife, experimental Norwich duo Let’s Eat Grandma, Hedi Slimane’s LA muses Bleached and the Brainfeeder signed Brit Iglooghost, whose awesome Low End Theory set i-D caught in February.
The new recruits join Mykki Blanco — whose new music we are dying to hear, fearless performer Anna Calvi, Edinburgh hip pop group Young Fathers, US noise rock duo Lightning Bolt, and local talent Gengahr, Pumarosa, The Japanese House, grime MC Elf Kid, tantric rockers Ulrika Spacek and art ravers Drones Club.
Visions is on Saturday 6 August across six venues in Hackney. Tickets are on sale now, currently at £30 for a wristband to access all venues.
