Each season, Louis W. for A.P.C. produces a film that reflects the narrative of the collection. Last season, their short film, Audition, walked away from the Berlin Fashion Film Festival with awards for Best Director, Best Cinematography and Best Editing, and this season’s is no less intriguing.
Leading on from Audition, and directed once again by Grant Curatola and Louis Levy, autumn/winter 15’s Comfort follows the same character, Bruno, and his girlfriend’s relationship with another girl… Whereas Audition was inspired by François Truffaut’s The 400 Blows, this one takes cues from Truffaut’s Jules and Jim, a 1962 French film centred on the story of a love triangle.
With a longer cut to be released in time for the film festivals, we’re betting on Louis W. for A.P.C. to win big once again…
